Call or email our office to set up a day and time for one of our experienced designers to come and take a look at the space you want to renovate.
From there, we can send you an estimate and make any changes you’d like. We will work with your occupational therapist, various healthcare providers and family, if requested, to ensure the renovations suit your specific needs.
A project manager will then be assigned to your project, and a start date will be given and the commencement of the transformation begins!
There is no job too big or too small that we can’t take on. Our goal is to keep you at home in a space that is functional, provides comfort and independence.
Common Design Requirements
- Dropped drain/ raised floor for a roll-in shower.
- Lower sinks with no cabinetry underneath for roll-in accessibility.
- Low threshold patio doors.
- Wider doors and hallways.
- Hardwood or tile floors, carpet removal.
- Rounded corners rather than square edges for hallways.
- Angles and turning radius need to be accounted for in every room.
- Minimum space required for passing through or by areas.
- Ramps- exterior wood, metal, cement.
- Interior wood or metal, decks with ramps.
- Kitchen designs with lower microwave, lower countertops, lower sink.
- Electrical – lower light switches and higher outlets.
- Storage areas in garage or basement for older equipment.
- Higher baseboards to lessen wall damage.
- Noise reduction in walls and floor joists.
